Found old dolls, Barbie, Shirley Temple and some even much much

In going through her attic I have found some very interesting dolls. one is a Barbie in the box from Mattell inc. 1962 another is a Shirley Temple doll with outfits still in the original boxes. How can I find out if they are worth anything?? I suggest that you look further than eBay. The reason I said that is because you are only going to find the minimum price for them. they will be worth something, but it may be worth it to find an antique mall and sell them on consignment. if you could describe them more in detail, someone could tell you their value. Ebay can be a good starting point. Check current auctions & completed auctions. Most resale places are not going to have a doll /toy expert on their staff. if you can find someone who has some knowledge about dolls or toys, they can give you advice on how much the dolls might be worth. Depending on where you live, Sandi Holder in California is very knowledgeable about dolls, especially Barbie, but you may find someone in your area who can tell you exactly what you have. Doll collectors, especially those who collect vintage are very particular about their dolls. Vintage Barbies can fetch high prices, but only if they are in very, very good condition. Shirley Temple stars in this 1939 version of the Frances Hodgson Burnett novel about a little, motherless girl left in the care of a girls boarding school by her soldier father, and then made into a servant there when he's missing in action during World War I. The fine tear-jerking film is a good vehicle for the famous moppet, and director Walter Lang (The King and I) makes a memorably lavish production of the Victorian milieu.
